The Problem
Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Services needed a real-time fundraising system built to withstand extreme traffic spikes during a live campaign — while tracking multi-tiered data most donation platforms never have to touch: live giving totals, multiple participating organizations, decentralized team-level goals, and dynamic funding targets tied to specific pieces of medical equipment.
Live donation tracker toward the $15M goal
My Role
I designed a dashboard-style interface built around a single visible goal — $15,000,000 — with live donor feeds and an automated “X2 Bonus Matcher” that gamified giving without gimmick. The harder design problem was the checkout itself: it had to handle single payments, installment plans, recurring deposits, and team-creation flows through one multi-state form, without any single path feeling like it was fighting the donor's intent.

The Result
The platform tracked over $11.1 million in live donations during the campaign, translating funding goals that ranged from individual airway equipment to full ambulances into a single navigable, emotionally direct giving experience — under the exact traffic conditions it was built to survive.
